Starting therapy is a big step, especially if you’re not sure what to expect. My goal is to help make the process as clear and supportive as possible, while helping you decide if this is the right fit.

Teletherapy for Millennial Professionals
Sessions are conducted remotely using a HIPPA-secure video platform. Research shows that teletherapy is just as effective as in-person therapy, and it comes with the added benefit of convenience. You can join sessions from the privacy of your home or a space that feels comfortable to you. I also use a few simple tools to make sure your information stays confidential, and our sessions stay connected.
1. Consultation
We’ll begin with a free 20-minute consultation. This is your chance for you to meet me, ask any questions, and help you get a feel if this is a good fit for you. We'll get to know each other without the pressure to commit!
2. Intake Session
If you decide to move forward, we’ll schedule an intake session. These typically last 45-50 minutes and allow me to get to know you better. Before we meet, I’ll ask you to fill out a couple of short surveys. They give us both insight into how you’re doing and where we might start.
3. Ongoing Sessions
From there, we’ll create a plan that fits your needs and schedule. Most clients meet every other week for 45-50 minutes, although that can vary based on the plan we come up with that works for you. Sometimes it makes sense to meet weekly in the beginning, then less frequently as you start to feel better. Some people come in for a handful of sessions to work through something specific, while others choose to stay longer as part of ongoing care. We’ll work together to figure out what makes the most sense for you.
